What is DeepVision?
DeepVision (Also known as DV8 or Team 7308) is a community based high school robotics team located in Silicon Valley. With over 15 students from 5 schools, DeepVision provides hands-on experience for budding engineers through the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). In FRC, teams are given a unique challenge each year that is played in a sports-like game, and are given 6 weeks to design, build, and program a working industrial grade robot to compete with. 2019 will be DeepVision's second season competing in FRC. You can learn more about FRC here.
With both the 2018 season and offseason having come to a close, our first robot, Dave, has been retired. Throughout the year, we went to 3 competitions, played over 30 matches, and even became a team captain at our most recent competition, making it to semi-finals. Here are some videos showcasing the robot and the team througout our rookie year. We will be building a new robot starting Janurary 5th, when a new FRC game will be announced by FIRST.
